On a random day in April, I took my work break on the Mississippi, and happened to see this guy launch off for Key West, after coming down the river all the way from Lake Itasca, MN.  It was also the first day I actually put my feet in those muddy waters (I know, I know).

Mardi Gras redux.  Since I missed Mardi Gras this year due to sickness, I got a re-do thanks to Treme’s casting of extras for the end of the St. Anne parade.  These were taken while waiting just off set.
